Academic Autobiography

When I first began elementary school I was already excited to become someone big in life. I started off really great! I knew how to read and write when I was in 1st grade, something that still troubles some students till today. My teacher loved me, I was their little pumpkin. I actually skipped a grade because I was too advanced from the other kids and did start school late at age. I do not really recall my kinder and 1st grade teacher, I just know that I do have to give them credit for giving me the joy of being an 11th grader today. My parents never missed out on me, never. they brought discipline into the house and helped me on difficult homework that was given to me. With the little that they knew it seemed to me that the always helped me so much. Music started to be my passion when I started middle school. My friend was playing the flute one day and I actually got interested in joining the music class. Therefore, when I started middle school i joined the marching band. So I did. The first instrument I ever played was the Tenor Saxophone. I thought I was a natural. I practiced everyday and practiced like there was no tomorrow. Once I hit 8th grade I wanted to apply to Hamilton High School. My teacher Mr. Harris wanted me to go to that school because he thought that i had a talent and also was really smart to go to that school. I talked to my parents about the school and the opportunities it would give me to reach my goal. At last they decided that the school was too far and they did not have the time to drop and pick me up in school. Surely I knew that I was going to West Adams because it was really close to my house. I honestly did not want to come to this school because it did not really seem fit for me. When I came to W.A.P.H.S I got all honor classes and did not join the band due to the small school schedules. I did awesome in 9th grade that provided me to take better classes in 10th grade. I took A.P Statistics and probability in 10th grade. I thought it was amazing due to a 10th grader taking an advance placement subject. I entered the band giving it a shot, but as a result I did not play the Tenor Saxophone. I gave the french horn a try, wanted a challenge! When I started playing the french horn of course I despised it. the french horn is a challenging instrument but surely I started to love that instrument. although in my opinion nothing could have beaten the tenor saxophone nor the alto saxophone. My goal till today is to become a business owner and a musician.
